Finally, click Rename button to almost instantaneously rename the file (s). Then, input the new name that you want the previous ones to be replaced with, under Replace With field. It can do a LOT more than the built-in File Explorer, e.g. All you have to do is type existing file name (s) or string (s) that you wish to change under Find field. You don't need to create a batch script to rename, you can do it with a few clicks. You can even use ReGEx (regular expressions) to look for patterns. As an alternative I thought: why dont I just rename. You can also easily add leading zeros to your file names. The main drawback of this kind of naming is that you have to reorder the files manually (see pic below).
